Chinese Name Chop
Symbols: Name, Virtue, and Dream
Media: Chop, carving tools, internet, paint/ink
Process: Look online for Chinese symbols of things that represent you. Create one of your name, and two of different symbols. Must have at least three Chinese symbols on the chop. Then draw your symbols onto a piece of paper in a square the size of your chop. Trace it with an ebony pencil on a tracing paper and then trace onto your chop. Use a carving tool to carve the symbols into the chop and then use the red paint/ink to test the chop.
Learned: Chinese chops can be used as a signature rather than signing by hand.
